Summary: Cleans and maintains consistent quality standard within budgeted time by performing essential duties and responsibilities for assigned accounts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other designated work areas. • Dust furniture and equipment from floor to six feet high, including cubicles.
- Wipe walls.
- Wash windows, sills, and door panels.
- Empty wastebaskets. Paying close attention to not empty shred baskets.
- Restock all dispensers and bathroom supplies.
- Vacuum carpets using the vacuum provided.
- Mop floors using a large wet mop. Always fill and empty mop bucket for each use.
- Dispose of all trash in designated dumpsters. Taking extra care to put recycle in the correct dumpster. Never throw trash into a recycle dumpster.
- Carry, move or unload large boxes of paper products, gallon soap, etc.
- Keep the janitor’s closet/space clean and in order.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Must possess a valid, current driver's license and/or have on-time, alternate transportation to arrive at each work location such as the bus.
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak and understand English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
